This really explains a lot about how your brain works. You're always waiting for someone to accuse you of being from Ohio...

Hey, I was born in Orange, CA... And lived there most of my life.
I know where Wisconsin is and have been to the Wisconsin Dells many times on vacation. I lived in Michigan a couple years and have cousins in Illinois.

Anyway, I wanted to let you know that not everyone in Orange, or that grew up there is that slow.

Heh. Sounds like conversations about Alaska, except people haven't seemed to figure out that we joined the Union in 1959....

Wow, really???

I've never quite had a conversation that bad in the 6ish years since transplanting.

I don't know many people around here who've actually been to Wisconsin (or maybe the entire midwest), but they at least seem to know what and where it is ;)

It's funny--I have that same conversation, but about a different "flyover" state. I'm originally from the west coast and used to carry the same forgetful attitude about the Midwest, but since moving there I've been slapped in the face with how arrogant that is.
